Topical retinols are widely used by dermatologists to help combat the visual effects of aging, such as wrinkles, sagging, and skin discoloration. Retinols speed up the cell renewal process, thus also unifying blemishes and tightening pores. The retinol molecule is highly sensitive and prone to breakdown if not properly protected.
Retinol 1.0 uses an optimized delivery system and protective packaging to ensure the stability and potency of pure retinol. This retinol night cream works with the skin's natural lipid structure and is optimally absorbed.
Apply a pea-sized amount to cleansed, dry skin in the evening, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Allow the product to absorb before applying other skin care products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. New users are advised to start with Retinol 0.3 first to gain skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen with high protection when using this product.
Preparations containing retinol are contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women. If you are planning a pregnancy, extra caution is required and if you suspect you are pregnant, stop using the product immediately.
